If you work as a part-time entrepreneur in addition to paid employment and belong to an employee's fund in your sector, you will receive earnings-related daily allowance during your unemployment when your entitlement to earnings-related benefits has been fulfilled.
The right to earnings-related pay is fulfilled when the part-time entrepreneur has worked as an employee for a total of six months and has done paid work for at least 18 hours a week.
If you have not worked sufficiently in addition to part-time entrepreneurship, the right to earnings-related benefits will not be fulfilled and thus you will not receive earnings-related daily allowance. However, you can apply for labor market support from Kela.
If you become unemployed, you can continue to be a part-time entrepreneur, but the work you do will reduce the amount of benefit paid. In this case, you will receive an agreed daily allowance.
