How does debt enforcement affect getting YEL insurance?

If you have active debt enforcement proceedings, you cannot currently take out YEL insurance through the UKKO Light Entrepreneur without Business ID service.

If you meet the conditions for YEL insurance, apply for it directly from a pension insurance company and pay the contributions to the company yourself. UKKO.fi cannot currently take YEL contributions paid outside UKKO.fi into account when calculating your salary or the amount withheld for debt enforcement.

Debt enforcement does not remove a possible obligation to have YEL insurance. If you have questions about the amount withheld, contact the enforcement authority.
