Income register - does it affect me as a light entrepreneur?

Yes and no. You don't have to do anything, because UKKO.fi takes care of reporting your income for you and your customer. You can also see the income you earn as a small entrepreneur from the income register.

The income register, which entered into force at the beginning of 2019, is an electronic database maintained by the Tax Administration for earned income, benefits and pensions.

Employers and wage-payers report there the details of all wages they pay within five days of their payment at the latest. UKKO.fi also reports the wages it pays to small entrepreneurs in the income register.

Note: salaries are reported within five days of salary calculation. The salary is calculated when we have received the payment and any expense entries related to the invoice have been processed.
