How can I start using the service?

You can access the service by registering as a Light Entrepreneur with a business ID (Y-tunnus). In the service, we register you as a private entrepreneur, meaning we establish a business ID (Y-tunnus) for you.

You can use our service if you:

• are at least 18 years old and
• have Finnish online banking credentials.

To be able to use our service, you need to sign an electronic authorization with strong identification. We require Finnish online banking credentials to enable strong identification.

We need the authorization to manage your bookkeeping as well as various official obligations related to the establishment and maintenance of your business. The purpose of the service is that you don't have to do bookkeeping or tax returns yourself; we take care of them on your behalf with the authorization.
